All Season Tires

As the temperature rises, we recommend replacing your winter tires with a set of all-season tires. Although Mother Nature can be unpredictable at times, once the weather is steadily above zero for consecutive days without any sign of snow in the forecast, it’s an excellent time to schedule an appointment to have your tires changed.

Remember to check your tire pressure monthly and keep it at the optimal level recommended in your manual. Look for uneven wear or cuts on its sidewalls, then rotate your tires every 5,000 kilometres/3 months when you change your oil and filters. Unless they're already damaged - then your tires should be replaced!

Check your tires regularly - before they are too worn out! If the tread is 1/16" (2 mm) or less, it needs to be replaced. To determine how deep the threads are, slip a toonie between them. If the silver part of the toonie is covered, your tires are about half worn. If the tread only reaches the words 'CANADA' or 'DOLLARS', it's time to replace your tires.

When you're buying a new set of tires, it's a good idea to check the date of manufacture. Look at the sidewall of your tire - find 4 numbers, often preceded by the letters 'DOT'. The DOT Tire Identification Number represents the date of manufacture by week and year.
